In this course you will acquire the skills necessary to build communication and credibility with others so you can influence and negotiate with greater success.
Students will learn:
The art & science of influencing
Insight into the nature of influence and your own persuasive style.
An understanding of others and different styles of communication
How to adapt your own style when influencing and negotiating
Questioning and listening skills for clarity
How to be persuasive
How to deal with resistance
How to politely push back when needed
How to manage difficult people
We have student parking in level P2 located underground at the Cesar E Chavez Campus at 1901 Main Street. To access the underground parking, head south on Main St. and turn right into the driveway behind the campus. We also have a parking structure located at 1902 National Ave. Permits are required for both places.Parking permits are $20 and are available at the campus. Parking permits are not required for Saturday classes.
